What is an A-frame gantry crane?
Our A-frame cranes are a slight variation of regular gantry cranes aimed at lifting light to medium capacities. As you might have guessed, the name comes from the ‘A’ shape of side profile.
The main beam is a horizontal member fabricated from rolled steel fitted with end plates and cheek plates suitable for connection to the rolled hollow steel leg sections.
These A-frame gantry crane come in two options, both of which can be adapted for indoor or outside use:

All of our A-frame gantry cranes receive an undercoat of zinc phosphate primer and are then finished with an additional outer paint coating of your choosing. Various options and accessories are available to you to ensure you end up with an A-frame crane suited to the task in hand:

- End stops
- Air feeds
- Galvanising (e.g. for outdoor use)
