Sometimes referred to as A-frame cranes, KDCs, or light duty gantry cranes, these small gantry cranes are typically used for lighter duty lifting requirements, but thanks to our bespoke design capabilities, we can also offer more robust A-frame cranes for heavier applications.
Spanning up to eight metres and standing at up to six metres in height, our A-frame gantry cranes can be adapted for indoor or outside use. The main beam has a horizontal member fabricated from rolled steel fitted with end plates and cheek plates suitable for connection to the rolled hollow steel leg sections.

A-Frame crane design
All of our A-frame gantry cranes receive an undercoat of zinc phosphate primer and are then finished with an additional outer paint coating of your choosing. Various options and accessories are available to you to ensure you end up with an A-frame crane suited to the task in hand:
